What To Do?
The first step is to talk to your dentist. They can take X-rays to see if you have any impacted teeth and assess the potential risks. They may then refer you to an oral surgeon. An oral surgeon is a specialist trained to deal with complex dental problems, including impacted teeth.
The oral surgeon will evaluate your individual situation and recommend the best course of action. Sometimes, if the impacted tooth isn't causing any problems and there's a low risk of future complications, the surgeon might recommend simply monitoring the tooth. In other cases, they might recommend removing the impacted tooth to prevent future problems.
